Planting involves placing seeds or seedlings into prepared soil to grow crops. This may be done by directly placing the seeds in the grounds or transplanting seedlings grown in a controlled environment. Achieving desired results while planting requires selecting the right time, depth, and spacing for optimal growth. It is also important to note that proper planting techniques are crucial for achieving healthy growth.

Following this standard, our project has introduced smart-approaches to bring innovation into horticultural practices, to ensure round the year cultivation of some selected vegetables to cushion the effect of hunger and food insecurity. This is what we do at the horticulture innovation hub in Nigeria.
